We offer opportunities to engage, enjoy, express, learn, and grow each day. For every facility, our dedicated activities team develops an extensive calendar tailored to the specific needs and preferences of our residents.
A fenced, SAFE and SECURE Home environment with 24/7 SECURITY guards, armed response and security cameras.
Carers, nursing, cleaning and social welfare STAFF are available on call 24/7.
A Government DOCTOR calls once a week and a contracted AMBULANCE service is on call for emergencies (Please note that this service is available free of cost to the resident UNLESS the resident is on medical aid)
There are two LIBRARIES on-site, as well as a public library that visits twice a month with large print books.
A TUCK SHOP is open at the Home twice a week to purchase sweets, snacks, soft drinks and some toiletries.
Beautiful GARDENS with seating to enjoy nature and birds.
Age and health appropriate, voluntary EXERCISE sessions are led by our Social Worker.
A range of ACTIVITIES and ENTERTAINMENT are offered, for example, A Movie or ‘Sherry & Shandy’ afternoon once a month, visiting singers and entertainers and others as described below.
A HAIRDRESSER visits twice a week and charges a nominal fee for her services.
NO OUTSIDE EXCURSIONS ARE UNDERTAKEN although family/friends are welcome to fetch residents for meals or holidays away from the Home as long as they sign out and inform of their plans.
Ball Games
Carpet bowls, gentle ball games and other age and health appropriate EXERCISES led by our Social Worker.
Church Service
A CHURCH SERVICE is held each week in our Chapel, BIBLE STUDY twice a week and COMMUNION on the first and last Friday of every month.
Knitting Club
Making TEDDY BEARS and BABY CLOTHES for the nearby orphanage.

Recipes from the Heart
- 3 nutritious meals per day are provided in the 3 separate dining areas by our kitchen staff.
- Occasionally, a treat such as biscuits or cake is provided for afternoon tea.
- Residents who would like to partake in alcoholic beverages during mealtimes can have these supplied by friends or family directly to Management who will then provide it, in moderation, to the resident.
- Birthday cake can be ordered from the kitchen for a nominal fee.
- Family and friends are welcome to join us for lunch at the Home, depending on availability, requiring them to book by 9 am on the day they would like to come. A nominal fee is charged for the meal and tea and it can be served in a guest room reserved for this purpose or in one of the dining areas.
